Look at the vents near the top of the back of your TV. Determine if the vents are vertical, horizontal, or circular.
If you have vertical vents, use the hook labeled "V". If you have horizontal vents, use the hooks labeled "H". If you have circular vents, use the hooks labeled "C".
Slide one hook into each of the two horizontal bars as shown.
Find vents within six inches of the top of the TV. Connect TotalMount to the back of the TV by sliding the hooks into the vents. You may need to gently wiggle the hooks to help them go into the vents. If the hooks do not fit, try another hook or try another mounting option.
Connect the power and HDMI cords to the Apple TV. Slide the Apple TV into the TotalMount with the Apple TV cord ports facing the floor.
Insert two bands through the TotalMount holes as shown here.
Secure the bands around the vertical TV mounting bar. The top of the TotalMount must be within six inches of the top of the TV for remote reception.
Connect the power and HDMI cords to the Apple TV. Slide the Apple TV into the TotalMount with the Apple TV cord ports facing the floor.
Find a wall that does not have wires or pipes. Warning - Do not screw TotalMount into a wall that has wires or pipes (to avoid life-threatening injury). Screw the TotalMount to the wall such that the Apple TV is either not blocked by the TV or is within six inches of the top of the TV.
Connect the power and HDMI cords to the Apple TV. Slide the Apple TV into the TotalMount with the Apple TV cord ports facing the floor.
